Harvesting sustainable seaweed

If you’re fond of sand dunes and salty air…

Our latest news release has been timed to coincide with the campaign contesting the reopening of Dean Quarry, on the Lizard. We have been in contact with the Cornwall Against Dean Superquarry action group, and contributed our opinions about the development of a jetty and plans to expand on the quarry. This is a place where we hand cut our seaweed, on a rotation system, in order to ensure its sustainability.

We are lucky enough to call one of only 27 Marine Conservation Zones our ‘offices’ some days of the week, when we take to the sea and harvest seaweeds. This is always carried out with the utmost respect for the marine environment, as this is our commitment.
